Establishing and Equipping Tennis Courts
Tennis courts are constructed and equipped in accordance with the rules and standards set by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and are delivered to you ready for use. According to these standards, the area of the tennis court is 36 meters in length and 18 meters in width and in total 668 square meters.
We can also create tennis courts in smaller or larger sizes for multiple uses and hobbies, except for the international sizes specified for this. These sizes are often widely preferred in residential complexes and independent spaces.
Thanks to our 12 years of experience in the sports flooring sector, and in constructing and equipping tennis courts, we create tennis courts in a professional and problem-free manner.
IM TRUST creates tennis courts with more than one system, with the highest technical specifications, quality standards, and aesthetic appearance. Here are the systems for implementing tennis courts and the characteristics of each of them.
Artificial grass flooring
• It can be played directly without the need to add silica sand or rubber granules
• Certified by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
• The ideal alternative to avoid problems with natural grass
• Low maintenance costs
• Color stability in all seasons of the year
• Safe for players
Acrylic flooring
Tennis courts with acrylic floors are constructed in accordance with the standards set by the International Tennis Federation. Smaller tennis courts can be constructed for use by amateurs according to request. The infrastructure, ironwork, wire mesh, lighting, poured acrylic flooring, and tennis net installation on the tennis courts are constructed ready for use.
Two different types of floors are used in the construction of acrylic tennis courts:
1. Acrylic floor
2. Acrylic floor and cushion
The construction phases of both types of land have similar characteristics. There is an interlayer called “cushion” in extra cushion acrylic flooring systems. Cushion is a type of flooring covering specifically for sports flooring, which includes acrylic resin and various other synthetic components as well as mixtures.
Construction of a tennis court with a tartan floor
Tartan flooring is made by overlapping a layer of two materials from the polymer-based synthetic rubber group, commonly known by the abbreviations SBR and EPDM. The thickness of these layers can vary according to demand and need. The most applied thickness is 8mm SBR + 5mm EPDM and the total is 13mm. Synthetic rubber applied in the granules provides a flexible floor across the SBR granules, while the EPDM granules form a durable surface with a variety of colors.
